The journey to the village of Basshi takes about 4 hours, with a few short stops along the way, one of which is the village of Baysait, where you can buy fruit, delicious samsa, kurt, etc.
12:00 Arrival in the village of Basshi, check-in at the hotel, lunch.
13:00 Departure to the Aktau and Katutau mountains, to the 700-year-old Iva.
The road to the Aktau Mountains takes about 1.5 hours. These chalk mountains are amazingly beautiful and are a museum of the distant past of the Earth. The mountains are composed of layers of stones in a variety of colours. The guide will tell you the story of how the chalk mountains came to be and will take you to the most beautiful places.
After hiking in the Aktau Mountains, you will head to the Katutau Mountains, which were formed by the solidified lava of two large volcanoes, and to the 700-year-old Iva.
19:00 Return to the hotel, dinner, free time.
Next, you will head to Charyn Canyon, stopping on the way in Chundzha for lunch at a café.
14:30 Arrival at Charyn Canyon - Valley of Castles. Upon arrival, you will be able to enjoy the beauty of Charyn Canyon from panoramic viewpoints, as well as descend into the canyon and walk through the Valley of Castles to the Charyn River. The walking part of the route is ~ 6 km. Along the way, you will take amazing photos.
18:00 Arrival in the village of Saty, accommodation in a guest house, dinner, free time.
You will feel part of the unique harmony of nature and have the opportunity to visit a place where the boundaries between the horizon and the earth are blurred, where your gaze is lost in the endless expanse of beauty.
11:30 Transfer to Lake Kolsai, about 1.5 hours.
Lake Kolsai is known for its crystal clear water and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. You can walk along the shore of Lake Kolsai, enjoy the amazing nature, or rent a boat and swim on the lake.
14:00 Lunch in Saty and departure to Almaty.
19:00 Return to Almaty. Upon arrival in the city, the guide-driver will take you to your accommodation.
